By opting into SMS (text messaging) services from The Victorian Villa Inn, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms specifically govern our SMS communications and are in addition to our Privacy Policy.

1. Service Description

We use SMS to provide you with timely updates regarding your stay. This includes:

• Reservation and booking confirmations.
• Secure payment links for deposits or final balances.
• Urgent updates regarding your arrival or stay.

2. Consent & Opt-In

Consent to receive SMS is obtained through one of the following methods:

• Online: By explicitly checking the optional "SMS Consent" box on our booking inquiry form.
• Verbal: During a phone reservation, staff will explicitly ask: "I can send your reservation confirmation and a secure payment link via email or as a text message to your phone. Which would you prefer?" If you choose text, we verify: "Great, I'll send that now. You can opt-out at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply. Do I have your permission to send this to you?"

Consent is not a condition of purchase. By providing your phone number and explicitly opting in, you authorize The Victorian Villa Inn to send you text messages.

3. Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier. The Victorian Villa Inn is not responsible for any fees charged by your carrier.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. Typically, you will receive 1-3 messages per reservation (confirmation, payment link, and arrival information).

5. How to Opt-Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to our number. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

7. Data Privacy (Mobile Information)

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
